The Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church held its first service in October, 2000 in the rented facilities of the Ransomville Methodist Church located on Route 104.

 

The Lord has blessed us with our own building located in the village of Sanborn, near the much visited city of Niagara Falls.

 

A Short History about our Building.

 

Sanborn’s first church was actually an old wooden Methodist Church from Pekin that was moved to Sanborn in 1865.

 

Remodelled and renamed the Sanborn Union Hall, both the Methodists and the Baptists used this facility for services until their own churches were built.

 

In 1888 it was purchased by a Mennonite congregation for use as their church building. That building is now located on Pearl Street and is the American Legion Post 969.
